Senior Software Developer
(Fintech / Payment Systems)

Description
You will be responsible for the development and lifecycle of our payment processing engine. This involves ensuring seamless data flow between ISO8583 hosts and our cloud-native environment. You will work within a Linux ecosystem, utilizing Docker and Kubernetes for orchestration and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
This role reports to the CTO and focuses on technical execution, code quality, and system stability within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop secure and scalable payment processing modules.
- Integrate with third-party payment hosts via Socket and API connections.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, safe delivery of code.
- Support the CTO in ensuring all code meets regulatory and security standards (PCI-DSS).
- Troubleshoot complex production issues across the full stack (App/Network/OS).
Requirements
Experience
- Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to mentor junior developers.
Technical Knowledge
- Programming: Advanced knowledge of js, NPM, and TypeScript (Express.js).
- Systems: Strong background in C Programming and Socket Programming.
- Protocols: Experience with ISO8583 or similar financial messaging protocols.
- DevOps: Experience with GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- OS: Proficient in Linux environments and command-line tools.
- Fintech Experience: Prior experience in payment switching or banking systems is a major plus.
Industry Experience (Highly Preferred)
- Cashless payment integration for:
- Vending machines (MDB)
- EV chargers
- Parking systems
- Transit / mobility solutions
