Software Development Engineer
(Android / Linux Payment Terminal | Full Stack)

Description
You will develop Android-based payment terminal applications while also contributing to backend services and integrations, working across the full payment stack—from device to gateway.
This role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years of experience who wants to deepen their expertise in fintech, embedded systems, and full stack payment development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Android payment terminal applications
- Implement contactless and contact payment functionalities
- Develop and integrate backend services/APIs for payment processing
- Integrate with backend systems and acquiring banks
- Collaborate with hardware, platform, and backend teams
- Implement security, encryption, and data protection mechanisms
- Ensure compliance with EMV, Visa, Mastercard, and industry standards
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain production systems
Requirements
Experience
- 2–3 years in software development (mid-level)
- Experience in embedded systems, payment devices, or full stack development preferred
Technical Knowledge
- C/C++, Java, Kotlin, Node.js, or Flutter
- Android development experience
- Backend development experience (js, APIs, integrations)
- Embedded Linux / RTOS familiarity
- Git or similar version control
Industry Experience (HIghly Preferred)
- Cashless payment integration for:
- Vending machines (MDB)
- EV chargers
- Parking systems
- Transit / mobility solutions
Security
- Secure coding practices & cryptography basics
Soft Skills
